Capital Bank is pleased to associate itself with ICICI Bank Ltd., India to offer a revolutionary product, which will ease all the present issues related to the remittance to India.
About the product
It is an Internet based remittance facility having SSL encrypted security (128 bit security).
Capital Bank will use this facility to remit money, online, for its customers from Botswana to any branch of any bank in India. Over 240 banks in India participate in the National Electronic Funds Transfer (NEFT)/Real Time Gross Settlement (RTGS) system, which is operated by Reserve Bank of India, India’s Central Bank.
Money can be transferred through NEFT to more than 25000 bank branches in India, under Money2India Platform.
The remittance is processed under Straight Through Processing (STP) if the beneficiary’s Name and Account Number and the recipient Bank’s IFSC code are accurately provided.
This results in the remittance being credited within 2 working days, or even quicker, if the beneficiary is an ICICI Bank customer. Remittance to ICICI Bank account can be tracked on line by Capital Bank Ltd.
